Teletalk GPRS
A new addition in Teletalk services. We are happy to announce that, you can now use the full GPRS connectivity with your Teletalk connection.
Teletalk invites you to use GPRS and browse the internet, check your mail or chat with your friend while moving.
What is GPRS?
GPRS stand for General Packet Radio Service. GPRS is a type of cellular mobile service by which we can transfer data. This can be compared with the fixed phone dial-up internet service. You can use your PC or the mobile set itself to get the internet service. GPRS offers up to 115 kbps which is faster than fixed phone dial-up service.
How to subscribe and use GPRS on your phone:
To activate GPRS service.
1. To register "Pay per use" or "No Use No Pay" connection, write 'reg' and send SMS to 111.
2. To register monthly limited "250tk per month-1GB" connection, write 'm01g' and send SMS to 111.
3. To register daily limited "08tk per day - 10MB" connection, write 'd10m' and send SMS to 111.
4. To register Weekly (7 days) limited "40tk per 7 days - 50MB" connection, write 'w50m' and send SMS to 111.
5. To register Fortnightly (15 days) limited "80tk per 15 days - 100MB" connection, write 'f100m' and send SMS to 111.
6. To register unlimited GPRS connection, write 'unl' and send SMS to 111.
7. To register daily unlimited connection, write 'dunl' and send SMS to 111.
To check the Usage of Volume Bundled Package write 'u' and send SMS to 111.

When Daily and Monthly limited or unlimited packages time band and volume have been finished then the connection automatically changed by normal "Pay per use".
It’ll be activated within 24hrs and you will be notified. After notified please configure your hand set with below information.
Volume based bundled packages are applicable for all Prepaid packages.
Configuring your mobile handset for using GPRS:

* Note: IP & Port not applicable for every Hand Set.
You can enjoy the GPRS service by three ways:
A. From your mobile handset which have built-in Web browser.
B. MIDP.2 [JAVA] supported handset where you can install any third party mobile web browser like opera mini and use the GPRS service.
C. You can use your mobile as a modem and can use the GPRS from your laptop or Desktop PC. The handset should support this type of connections. Individual software and Data Cable/ Infrared are needed for connecting mobile handset with Laptop or Desktop PC.
